The duration of this course is ten weekly one hour lessons.  The main focus of this course is control of your dog on and off the lead to a high level whilst maintaining the fun aspect of training.  Conditions for enrolment are that your dog must be fully vaccinated and be capable of responding to the basic commands found in the puppy course.  Dogs of all ages are eligible and child handlers are welcome if accompanied by an adult.  Handouts will be available setting out the goals and how to achieve them.

Whilst this course is challenging, it is rewarding for both the owners and dog. It is designed to give the owner more verbal control of the dog when on and off lead walking, with changes in direction and more importantly, recall. In my experience, lead walking and recall are the problems owners find the most frustrating and who then impose their frustration onto their dog.  A happy, controlled and trusted pet is a joy to take out, for both the owner and dog. 

A certificate is awarded to dogs that successfully complete the course.  Then you could have fun with the Novice agility course

Private tuition is available for owners not wishing or unable to participate in a class, giving more flexibility to the owners’ requirements or have a specific behavioural, training problem
